Are Physics and Religion the Same? Maybe

This is really more a book review than a blog post, but I wanted the information to be out there. I am sure that this book is something that many people will not be able to accept, but I hope there will be others, like me, who find that the information in this book answers many previously unanswered questions.

GalaxyAt the time that this book was written Frank Tipler was, and still is a professor of mathematical physics at Tulane University. He had previously written a book titled “The Physics of Immortality” followed by the subject of this post “The Physics of Christianity.”

Dr. Tipler begins his book by giving an overview of the laws of physics as they apply to quantum mechanics, general relativity, and particle physics. He then uses this information to prove:

  • the existence of God
  • the fact that God is a triune God
  • that Jesus’ miracles were all in agreement with the laws of physics
  • that the Star of Bethlehem was real
  • the virgin birth definitely happened
  • the resurrection and the incarnation are accurate

He concludes with a discussion of why, if God is a loving God, there is still evil in the world.

I know that the information in this book is very difficult to wrap your mind around, but please think about it. If Dr. Tipler is correct, God may have made available the proof that so many people are saying they must have. Maybe.
